Hi, I'm Miss Ruby - the little heart behind Dachshund Obsessions.
I've been blind since I was two years old, but that never stopped me from living my best life. I may not see the world the way you do, but I feel it in all the ways that truly matter - through love, warmth, and the people who mean everything to me, my hoomans!
Now I'm nine, and life is pretty amazing. I love daily walks, exploring the world with my nose leading the way. I get so excited playing with my squeaky toys (they're the best, if you ask me), and I never say no to a good cuddle session. Kisses? Oh, I have plenty of those to give!
One of my favourite things is sunbaking to recharge - just lying in the warmth, soaking it all in like my own special kind of sunshine. It makes me feel calm, safe, and oh-so-happy.
My hoomans say I have all the classic dachshund traits - curious, a little cheeky, incredibly loyal, and full of personality. And honestly? I think they're right. It's not just me either...it's something special we all share. Every dachshund in our little family has that same loving, playful spirit and big-hearted energy that makes us who we are.
Every day, I wake up ready to enjoy life with courage, trust, and a wagging tail. I might not see the light, but I feel it - and I share it in my own little things.
That's how it all began. My hoomans created Dachshund Obsessions to share the feeling of warmth, comfort, and light with others - because even if we can't always see the light, we can still feel it all around us.
So every time you light one of our candles, just know - that little glow carries a piece of my story, my spirit, and a whole lot of love.
